Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. The album peaked at the rank of eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Following that year, he collaborated with Ozuna in The Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina in the following year. In 2021, he appeared in a duo performance with TINI on her cult music video Maldita Foto. in 2023 the single the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into a musical family, his older brother and mother are both musicians. He's said in interviews that music is compulsory.
