Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") Rosalia Vila (Spanish for "Rosalia") is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish Pop and Flamenco Singer. Since she was a teen she sang in both the traditional and popular music. Her music interests have widened to encompass soul and hip-hop. Her voice has been called by no less of an artist than the flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, however with a bit of bite similar to older versions. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately winning a Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake and others. It was released in 2022 because of the Saturday Night Live appearance by the famous singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to have performed alone on the popular program. Motomami's Rosalia, who won an award for the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman to do so.
